Repurposed Jars

PB Lanterns http://www.potterybarn.com/
Cost = $69.00 - So why not make your own knock-off?
When I find something I like, I get it stuck in my head and want to make a million projects. Unfortunately, I work full-time so I don't have as much time to craft as I would. My newest fetish is Jars! I've just begun to start saving jars with future projects in mind. Check out some of the neat stuff others are posting in blogland.
These are from My World Made By Hand. They are hand made apothocary jars. She was so generous to post instructions. Absolutely beautiful. I want to make my own soon!

This same gal, came up with this idea too... Make up brush holder. How cute!

I just found this blog today, Boho Farm and Home. Painted glass jars with chalkboard labels!
Now why didn't I think of that? So pretty! This makes me want to organize my kitchen!

Another great outdoor lighting alternative from You are my fave parties

Candy Jars from Iron Violet Designs

If you are a crafter, you'll love this idea using baby food jars. Re-Nest came up with this idea!

Another great idea from Liz Marie Blog

Decor Chick came up with this, a Mason Jar Soap Dispenser! How original and fun!

Another great idea if you are a crafter! This tutorial is brought to you by The Life of Jennifer Dawn

A beautiful display by Craft Berry Bush

Some other great ideas come from Whole Lotta Lovely! So many beautiful pieces she created.

And a chandelier used from Mason Jars, seriously a fantastic idea from Spinning My Yarn

So, have I inspired you to save your jars and make something sweet with them?

  3. “When I find something I like, I get it stuck in my head and want to make a million projects.” – Sounds like a true DIY genius! And I do understand what you feel. Whenever I see something, my mind goes into work and I think of a million ways to make it work for my home. And these repurposed jars look pretty nifty. This is surely one of the thousand ways to use a jar! :-)
