Another little find + Twine wrapped styrofoam balls

I love a good deal. I love neat things. You know this. And you love a good deal and neat things too. I know you do!!!

So I found this at the Salvation Army last weekend.
So for a .25 cents each, I couldn't pass them up! But what to do with them? Of course I would spray paint them... and then do what?

So while at the Salvation Army I rifled through the craft section and found some styrofoam balls for .25 cents too. Perfect. Score!

I wrapped the balls in twine and thought they could go in the brass holder thing-a-mo-bobers... lol

And here is how they turned out. Simple. Cute. Easy. These are my kind of projects!

Spray Paint + $1.25 Candle Holder = LOVE

You know I love to yard sale... So when I found this, for $1.25 I knew it was love at first sight. Well, maybe not exactly, but I knew it had potential!

I contemplated spray painting it black, white or turquoise. After a considerable debate in my head, I opted for white. I choose white because when I get bored of it being white, I can spray it a different colour! So a couple coats later...

I know that this is ideal to hold candles but I was thinking outside the box a little when I was having a little photo shoot...

Loving the white and the green apples! So bright and cheery!
Holding some jute wrapped pears. Kinda shabby!

With my thumb tack balls! Everyone is loving these - but I can't take the credit, really. I just copied a project I saw that I loved. Why re-invent the wheel?

And with a combination of EVERYTHING! I think it's so fun and was totally worth the $1.25. Plus, it can be altered with different things every season. Hope you like my find just as much as I do!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend!
