Blogging is so CONFUSING!

SO, at first I was so scared to post my blog online. I was scared because I thought people would think it was stupid or something. Darn negative thinking again... must stop that. Then, I decide that I want to post my blog online so I can allow some friends and family to check it out to see what i've done so far. And now, NOTHING! I don't believe that they can view my blog and because of my paranoia, I changed so many settings when I first signed up to protect my blog. At this point i'm frustrated. I'm ready to give up. It's only day two. But dear Lord, please help!
